In this year of the Homecoming, Burns I am not!
But for the sake of a few words on a piece of paper, and we have waited so long already, what if it goes another few days. See I can be quite philosophical about it!
Essentially, in an era of claim and counterclaim and many different pieces of legislation, both Church and National---in fact, even European! It makes sense that we don't start the repair until all the boxes have been ticked, and we have been pushing matters ahead quite swiftly.
So what if it takes a few more days. As I write this Blog, letters, e-mails and telephone calls have been moving around and the start is really not so far away now. Roll on tomorrow!

Paperwork etc. screws up most things! I read in today's paper that the government's "scrappage" scheme for old cars may well die in a welter of it. So don't worry. Every day's delay is frustrating, but we'll get there. All strength to your arm, your pen, your word processor, but most of all your single-mindedness!
